Cougar International Drill Meet at Spanish Springs High School

Local Community Color Guard Photos

The JROTC Drill Team participates annually in three drill  meets in Washoe County. A four person "competition color guard" team is a part of the Drill Team. This is an extremely rigid team, with a dedicated format they must follow in competition. Attendance at Drill practice is a mandatory requirement to participate in this event. To participate in a school or local community color guard event, a Cadet must simply sign up on the sheet in Major Ford's classroom. Training for these events occur at the event, as all are different. Competition color guard members participate in drill meets, and it is different than a school or local community color guard.
