Color Guard

A Color Guard is "a uniformed group, especially of soldiers, police officers, or school representatives, who parade or present their institution's flag (and sometimes their national flag) on ceremonial occasions." There are two different types of color guard at DHS; a competition team that practices and competes at Drill Meets and the local community color guards. Any interested Cadet may participate in school or local community color guards.
In order to letter in DHS Color Guard you must complete 10 Color Guards in a school year. Cadets interested in participating in a school or community color guard must sign up in Major Ford's classroom.
